Caddies will have several food and drink happy hour specials available to enjoy before and after the 6:30pm start to trivia: \n\nAll-day 1/2-price burgers\n$3 off apps and sliders (3-8pm)\nHappy Hour drink specials (3-10pm): $1 off drafts\, $7 wine\, $7 margs\, $6.50 rail drinks and $6.50 orange and grapefruit crushes\n\nThe entry fee is $10/person with all proceeds going to our scholarship fund. DESCRIPTION:March Madness is almost here! Join the Metro Washington Chapter’s bracket tournament benefiting our scholarship fund\, with options to participate in both the Men’s and the Women’s tournaments. The same details apply for both and you can enter either or both\, if you really “know ball.” \n\n50/50 prize for winner!\n$15 entry fee\nSubmit additional brackets for $5 ea. to increase your odds of winning\n\nEnter as many times as you please! The money will all be collected into a pool: 50% of the total will go to the winner and the other 50% will go to our chapter scholarship fund\, which helps deserving\, local (DMV) students cover the costs of their Penn State education. Therefore\, the more brackets that are entered\, the more everyone wins\, so be sure to invite your friends! \nFollowing your ticket purchase\, you will receive an email with login information for our private ESPN group(s) where you will submit your bracket(s). DESCRIPTION:For the first time since 2023\, the annual MWCPSAA Scholarship Golf Tournament is making a comeback! \nJoin us on Sunday\, May 31st at the Augustine Golf Club in Stafford\, VA for 18 holes of fun\, all in support of our chapter scholarship fund which is proud to award ~$20\,000 to local students each year\, largely in thanks to community support of events like this. \nRegister as an individual or as a foursome; individuals will either be randomly placed in foursomes or kept alongside partners requested ahead of time. \nOur shotgun start will kick off at 9am sharp. Your ticket will include green fees\, a cart\, access to the range\, a few drinks and a post-play BBQ lunch buffet. We will also be hosting a raffle and a few on-course contests with some great prizes\, as well as a grand prize for the winning group! \nTickets: \n“Early Birdie” – available until 4/17\, at which point the price will go up $20/ticket \n\nSingle: $170\nFoursome: $620 (=$155pp)\n\nPlease feel free to reach out to golf@psuwashdc.org with any questions or sponsorship inquiries. DESCRIPTION:Please join us at Cabin John Park as we welcome the newest group of Nittany Lions as they join the Penn State family!\n\nThe day will include food\, drinks\, games\, giveaways and more!\n\nDuring the picnic\, we will host a session where freshmen can chat with former students to find out all there is to know about campus life. We will also have a special session for parents to speak with current student parents to ask all the important questions.\n\nRSVP pending- ticket sales will open later this year. Once they do\, please kindly register using the RSVP link so we can ensure there is enough food and drink. Expect typical BBQ fare (salads\, grilled meat\, fruit\, and dessert).\n\nEvent Volunteers Needed:  The chapter also needs alumni volunteers that can be present from 11:30 AM – 4:30 PM to help setup\, greet guests\, mingle with students and their families\, take photos\, cleanup\, etc. Please register if you’d like to help us run this important event!
